International Scholastic Chess Championship
For many young chess players, the Junior Orange Bowl International Scholastic Chess Championship is the perfect opportunity to not only sharpen their mental skills, but also test their abilities against players from all different backgrounds and nationalities. Chess is more than just a game; it is a wonderful learning tool for life as it develops mental skills such as patience, planning, and strategy. Chess is a game that has a universal language and therefore often crosses cultural barriers; bringing people together from all over the world.
