2009 BOYS QUALIFYING CRITERIA

The tournament is an invitation only event.  You are eligible for an invitation by achieving one of the following:

                        1)  Top 10 from previous year 2008 tournament
                        2)  Top 32 USGA Junior
                        3)  US Players - Winners (18 under age group) of junior
                             golf events. Press Thornton - Future Masters;
                             Rolex T of C; Polo Junior; Junior World;
                             Thunderbird Invitational; Insurance Agent Junior; 
                             Western Jr., AJGA Boys; Doral-Publix Jr.,
                             Jr Heritage; Scott Robertson Memorial, FCWT
                             National Championship; Optimist Junior;  
                            North – South Junior;  Westfield PGA Jr.;
                            AJGA Junior All Star (12-15) Invitational.
                        4)  Top 15 Golfweek/Sagarin ranking as of August 1.
                        5)  Top 15 Jr. Golf Scoreboard ranking as of July 31.
                        6)  First team AJGA Polo All Americans
                        7)  Foreign National Champion (Submitted by their
                             golf federation & slected by the committee)

            Criteria to keep in mind about our tournament:
                        *  Must not have reached the 19th birthday by Decembe
                           30, 2009 and not participating on a College/University.
                        *  Our field is limited to a maxiuml of 69 Boys from the US  
                            and Foreign Countries. These are subject to the review.
                        *  We do not have age categories and there is no cut during 
                            the Championship.
                        *  Invitations are sent out first week of September.
